CENO integrate signals slip ring used in Electro-optical pod

Time: 26, 10 2024 Views: 1

CENO have kinds of signal slip ring including HDMI slip ring, HD-SDI slip ring, RF slip ring or FORJs slip ring, all of them can be customized for different applications, take the Electro-optical pod for example. In order to fit the Visual axis stabilization technology, CENO made multiple tests and find perfect parameters to meet the stale performance.

The electro-optical pod is important components of electro-optical reconnaissance and warning technology and equipment, and are also the core equipment of unmanned aerial vehicle reconnaissance. It will fill the role of tactical reconnaissance for manned aircraft. Therefore, various countries are vigorously developing electro-optical pods for various purposes. Optoelectronic pods can be widely used in reconnaissance on land, at sea, in the air, and in space, with carriers such as vehicles, ships, aircraft, and satellites.

Visual axis stabilization technology:

Due to the fact that the electro-optical pod is mounted on a moving carrier, the rolling and vibration of the carrier can affect the shaking of various electro-optical sensors' visual axes, causing image blurring and inaccurate positioning, which is not allowed. So, the most basic and critical technology for electro-optical pods is visual axis stabilization technology.

Multi sensor mechanical coupling and data fusion technology:

At first, the electro-optical pod was equipped with a single sensor, but later developed into multiple sensors, such as short focus color CCD cameras, long focus black and white (or color) CCD cameras, laser rangefinders, short/medium/K-wave infrared thermal imagers, target indicators, etc. They can be combined with two or more as needed. This requires the optical axes of each sensor to be parallel to each other, and the parallelism requirement depends on the stability index; At the same time, the data and images detected by each sensor need to be encoded, fused, compressed, processed, and transmitted to the intelligence analysis and processing department.

Automatic assisted target recognition technology

This is a new image enhancement technique that extracts useful information from image scenes, abbreviated as ATR technology. Like "Hound Dog" and drones, they can search an area of 60km2 within 6 minutes, detect targets, and use ATR algorithm to identify these targets with high detection probability. They can recognize tactical targets the size of tanks and have a detection distance of up to 7km.

Multispectral and Hyperspectral Camera Technology

Multispectral camera technology refers to dozens of frequency bands from visible light to infrared, with spatial resolution ranging from a few centimeters to a few meters. Hyperspectral cameras respond to the light reflected by the target, rather than the radiation emitted by the target, and are based on a large focal plane array.

Millimeter wave passive radiation detection technology

A millimeter wave passive radiation detector operating at certain frequencies can provide images of hidden targets under low visibility conditions, with a typical temperature difference of 1K detected

CENO manufactured capsule slip ring which combined various signal for the Electro-optical pod in past years. In order to achieve better stable results, CENO continues to research and search for new solutions. For more information please contact us.
