What signals can slip rings transmit

There are three main types of slip rings: capsule slip ring , through hole slip ring (also named hollow shaft slip ring ,through bore slip ring ) and pancake slip ring.These slip rings are primarily distinguished from the mounting structure and outline shape .It can be divided into wind slip ring, military slip ring, Ethernet slip ring and so on.It also can be divided into contact slip ring, optical fiber slip ring, mercury slip ring and so on.

During the operation of mechanical equipment ,it’s need 360 degree rotation to achieve the purpose of automatic production. however, wires and circuits can become entangled with the rotation of different parts of the machine, causing the machine to damage or burn out.To solve this problem, a method is used to disconnect the wire and keep the end of the wire in contact with at least one end, rather than rotating with the machine.Such products are called slip rings.

What signals can slip rings transmit?

Optical signals.

High frequency signal with more than 1000 MHZ.

Special intermediate frequency signal, 50 ~ 100 MHZ.

All kinds of high-speed signal: 1.0/2.0 ultrasonic signal, 10 m / 100 m / 1000 m Ethernet signal, sd, sd/hd,sd/hd video signal.

All kinds of low frequency signal, such as audio signals, analog video signal, and public control, various Bus signal (InterBus, the Can - Bus, Profibus, RS422, RS485) and all kinds of sensor signals (temperature, humidity, weight, pressure, Angle etc.)
